Proof of Personhood
Proof of Personhood is a cryptographic guarantee that a wallet or account belongs to one unique real human — not a bot, sybil, or duplicate. TrustLayer builds this from peer vouches, on-chain history, and Merkle-anchored Trust Scores.
Proof of Personhood (PoP) is the missing primitive of Web3. Without it, one attacker can spin up millions of wallets and drain airdrops, sway DAO votes, or fake reputation. TrustLayer solves this without iris scans or KYC by combining peer vouches, wallet history, and time-based streaks into a single Merkle-anchored Trust Score on Base.

Sybil Resistance
Sybil resistance is the ability of a network to reject fake or duplicate identities. TrustLayer achieves this via weighted peer vouches, streak decay, and on-chain proofs.
Trust Score
Trust Score is a 0–1000 number computed from peer vouches, streaks, and on-chain activity — a portable reputation metric anchored to your wallet on Base.
Vouching
Vouching is a cryptographic peer signature that says "this wallet belongs to a real human I know." Each mutual vouch strengthens both parties’ Trust Scores.
